Hello. My name is Marcus. I am Catarina’s Father. On December 11, 2016, I brought Catarinas Mother to the hospital for sharp Stomach pain. She needed an emergency C Section at 30 weeks to find out what was wrong with the Her. She was so beautiful and so hairy And so, perfect. She had a terrible uphill battle because of underdeveloped lungs and because of a bladder infection that the mother had that transported to the baby’s immune system, and she was fighting it the best she could but the multiple instances that she received chest compressions and the lack of Oxygen to the brain, we decided that if she was to pull through and survive, she would be in so much pain that there was not a full and complete life. She would have several complications and we peacefully ended her life on our own terms. I know everybody might not agree with our decision, but I know it was the best decision I could make. She was born at 12:51 pm and passed, 8:25pm. 7 hours and 34 minutes. 454 minutes. I will strive to make 454 Random acts of kindness for every 454 minutes she was on this earth.
